Knodell score: Mild lobular inflammation

Arrows point to scattered foci of lobular necroinflammation. The inflammatory cells are composed mostly of mature lymphocytes. These foci are also termed spotty necrosis. Note the portal tract on the left has minimal inflammation and no interface hepatitis (formerly known as piecemeal necrosis).
