Noninvoluting congenital hemangioma (NICH)

Noninvoluting congenital hemangioma (NICH)
A 10 cm soft partially compressible subcutaneous mass with central overlying scar and telangiectasias at the border. This three-year-old girl was thought to have a rapidly involuting congenital hemangioma. However, after some apparent regression following ulceration of the center of the lesion in early infancy, it changed little over the ensuing 2.5 years.
