Skin appearance in eosinophilic cellulitis (Wells syndrome)

Skin appearance in eosinophilic cellulitis (Wells syndrome)
Eosinophilic cellulitis (Wells syndrome) is characterized by areas of single or multiple cellulitic plaques, often on the extremities, which typically resolve in two to eight weeks. Unlike bacterial cellulitis, the involved skin is not warm. Blood eosinophilia is found in approximately one-half of cases.
