Chronic eosinophilic pneumonia chest radiograph

Chronic eosinophilic pneumonia chest radiograph
Classic findings of chronic eosinophilic pneumonia (CEP) as seen on a conventional chest radiograph. The findings include bilateral, upper lobe predominant, and peripheral consolidative and ground-glass opacities. In CEP, lung involvement is bilateral in 75 percent and confined to the upper lobe in 50 percent. While these findings are "classic," it should be recognized that the chest imaging findings in most cases of CEP are not classic.
