    • Intestinal phasic and tonic pressure "bursts"
    • Inadequate intestinal response to a meal (fed pattern)
  • Sex (male)
  • No vagal dysfunction or sympathetic dysfunction
  • Clinical response to cisapride
  • Normal bowel diameter
  • Findings on small intestinal manometry:
    • Presence of MMCs
    • Motor response to octreotide
