MRI pubic ramus insufficiency fracture

MRI pubic ramus insufficiency fracture
The T1 weighted magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) sequence of the pelvis (A, B) reveals a right sided parasymphysial dark band suggesting edema (arrow). The STIR images (C) magnified and highlighted in D, confirm a faint fracture line (arrowhead) associated with the edema. These findings are consistent with an insufficiency fracture of the right side of the pubic symphysis.
CT: computed tomography; STIR: Short-TI Inversion Recovery.
