Displaced tibial shaft fracture

Displaced tibial shaft fracture
An anteroposterior (A) and lateral (B) radiograph of an unstable fracture of the tibial shaft are shown above. A fibular shaft fracture is also present. The tibial fracture was treated successfully with a locked reamed intramedullary nail (C and D). Yellow arrows indicate callus at the site of fracture healing.
