This nondisplaced, stable, distal tibial diaphyseal fracture (yellow arrow in images A and B) was treated nonoperatively. Weight bearing was started at 4 weeks and was full at 6 weeks. Union was uneventful (images C and D). A long leg cast was used for 4 weeks followed by a patellar-tendon bearing cast as shown here (image E).
