The upper panels show magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP) images of the distal common bile duct with a choledochocele bulging into the duodenum. The lower images show the corresponding endoscopic views obtained with forward- (left lower panel) and side-viewing (right lower panel) endoscopes. The patient is an 85-year-old woman who presented with abdominal pain and mild, chronic elevation of serum alkaline phosphatase.
