First metatarsal joint sesamoids (arrows)
This oblique view shows the two most common foot sesamoids: medial (ie, tibial) and lateral (ie, fibular) sesamoids below the metatarsophalangeal joint of the great toe. A nondisplaced, transverse fracture of the proximal phalanx of the little toe (arrowhead) can also be seen.
