Asbestosis

Asbestosis
CT scan in asbestosis shows bibasal opacities which are difficult to differentiate from gravitational changes without a prone scan. Several small cystic, honeycomb-like changes at the left lung base as well as a pleural plaque in the right anterior hemithorax are findings which make the diagnosis of asbestosis likely.
CT: computed tomography.
