Small vessel disease in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy
Patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy often have small vessel disease which may be associated with symptoms of ischemia. The small intramural vessels often demonstrate apparent lumenal narrowing, caused by hypertrophy of the tunica media.
