Histopathology in nonspecific interstitial pneumonia associated with systemic sclerosis (scleroderma)

Lung biopsy from a patient with systemic sclerosis and ground glass opacification on high resolution computed tomography (CT) showing marked interstitial cellular (lymphocytic) infiltration. These changes are consistent with cellular nonspecific interstitial pneumonia (NSIP).
