Hemodynamics in severe constrictive pericarditis
Left and right ventricular pressures are recorded in a patient with severe constrictive pericarditis using a conventional fluid-filled system with care to obtain near critical damping. Both equalization of diastolic pressures and a dip and plateau pattern are seen.
