Magnetic resonance arthrography of the right shoulder utilizing fat-suppressed T1 weighting and intraarticular injection of gadolinium. In the oblique coronal view (upper panel), there is contrast within the distal supraspinatus tendon, indicative of a tear (arrow). In the axial view (lower panel), contrast has traveled through the tear into the subdeltoid bursa (arrow).
