Right sided cardiac structures on transesophageal echocardiogram
Multiplane (122ยบ) imaging with anterior rotation of the probe allows for viewing of the right sided cardiac structures including the tricuspid valve (TV), right ventricle (RV), pulmonic valve (PV), and pulmonary artery (PA, panel A). The ascending aorta (Ao) is also seen. Panel B shows color Doppler flow at this orientation and confirms normal flow in the right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT).
