Transmyocardial laser revascularization reduces cardiac-related rehospitalizations
In a study of 275 patients with refractory angina, Kaplan-Meier estimates show that freedom from cardiac-related rehospitalization at one year was higher with transmyocardial laser revascularization (TMLR) compared to medical therapy (61 versus 33 percent, p <0.001).
