Amiodarone pulmonary toxicity

Amiodarone pulmonary toxicity
Computed tomographic scan obtained without intravenous contrast material reveals a high-attenuation right upper lobe consolidation (upper panel). Images from the upper abdomen (lower panel) demonstrate increased attenuation of the liver parenchyma. The attenuation of this lesion is the result of iodine deposition from chronic amiodarone therapy.
