Benign and malignant periesophageal lymph nodes

Characteristics of the benign lymph node are its mixed echogenicity, irregular border, elongated shape, and <10 mm width. In contrast, the malignant lymph node is echopoor, has a smooth border, has a round shape, and is >10 mm in width.
