Range of motion of the ulnarhumeral joint
Full arm flexion and extension are compared side to side. Loss of full extension with end-point stiffness suggests the presence of a small effusion or mild arthritis, while loss of full extension and flexion is consistent with a large effusion or moderate to severe arthritis.
