Amanita bisporigera ("Destroying angel")

Amanita bisporigera ("Destroying angel")
These tall white to light-tan mushrooms contain cyclopeptides that can cause life-threatening delayed liver toxicity when ingested. They are also sometimes called the "destroying angel". This common name is also used to describe three other toxic white Amanita species: A. ocreata, A. virosa and A. verna.
