Ultrasound transducer position for shoulder dislocation

Ultrasound transducer position for shoulder dislocation
When using ultrasound to identify a glenohumeral dislocation, the ultrasound display can be placed in front of the patient while the clinician stands behind the patient. The transducer is initially placed at the lateral aspect of the scapular spine and then moved up, down, left, and right to capture the best images of the joint.
