Choroid plexus papilloma

Choroid plexus papilloma
40-year-old with hemorrhagic choroid plexus papilloma (CPP). Noncontrast head CT (A) shows a dense midline mass and enlargement of the lateral and third ventricles. Transverse axial FLAIR (B) and T2*-weighted gradient-echo (C) MRIs show a blood-fluid level in the tumoral cyst (arrow) and areas of T2*-hypointense hemorrhage (arrowheads) along the margin of the tumor. Transverse axial T1-weighted (D) and postcontrast T1-weighted MRIs in transverse axial (E) and sagittal (F) planes demonstrate enhancement of the solid component of the tumor but not of the tumoral cyst.
CT: computed tomography; FLAIR: fluid-attenuated inversion recovery; MRI: magnetic resonance imaging.
