The fractional excretion of sodium (FENa) can be calculated by entering the values from simultaneously obtained urine and blood samples.
For this calculation, the serum creatinine and urine creatinine concentrations (Serum Cr and Urine Cr) are entered as mg/dL by default. Please use the SI unit version of this calculator if you have a value for creatinine concentration in mcmol/L or mmol/L.
In this calculator, mcg is the abbreviation for micrograms.
