Hydrocephalus and nodular spinal leptomeningeal disease

Hydrocephalus and nodular spinal leptomeningeal disease
(A) Enhancing nodular leptomeningeal disease is seen on T1-weighted postcontrast sagittal spine MRI (arrows). (B) Intracranially, there is ventricular enlargement, consistent with hydrocephalus. Axial T2/FLAIR sequences suggest transependymal CSF resorption (arrows). Axial postcontrast T1-weighted sequence of the brain (images not shown) showed no abnormal intracranial enhancement.
MRI: magnetic resonance imaging; FLAIR: fluid-attenuated inversion recovery; CSF: cerebrospinal fluid.
