| Place two large bore intravenous catheters. |
| Place arterial catheter. |
| Place thoracic epidural catheter for postoperative analgesia. |
| Place esophageal temperature probe. |
| Use goal directed fluid therapy based on SVV: maintenance Ringer's lactate, with bolus of 250 mL colloid for SVV >10% or urine output <0.5 mL/kg/hour. |
| Maintain goal urine output at ≥0.5 mL/kg/hour. |
| Administer antiemetics prior to HIPEC. |
| Maintain normothermia with warming measures during CRS, cooling measures during HIPEC. Turn off warming devices 15 minutes prior to HIPEC infusion. During HIPEC, aim for core temperature <39°C. If necessary, reduce HIPEC inflow temperature. |
| Obtain baseline laboratory studies prior to start of HIPEC: CBC, electrolytes, ABG. Repeat every 30 minutes during HIPEC and for two hours after infusion stops. |
