Clean and jerk barbell exercise
The clean and jerk is one of the Olympic weightlifting events, along with the snatch. The first portion of the lift (A through F) involves bringing the barbell from the ground to the shoulders. The second portion involves bringing the barbell from the shoulders to directly overhead (G).
