Primary (spontaneous) upper extremity venous thrombosis in a teen

Primary (spontaneous) upper extremity venous thrombosis in a teen
The right upper extremity venogram (A) shows obstruction to flow that was due to stenosis of right axillary and subclavian veins. Significant venous collaterals can be seen around the right shoulder. With abduction (provocative maneuver) the venogram (B) shows compression of the right axillary vein and subclavian veins consistent with Paget-Schroetter syndrome.
