Hybrid revascularization of the left lower extremity

Hybrid revascularization of the left lower extremity
The patient presented with left lower extremity disabling claudication. Arteriography demonstrated a left external iliac artery stenosis, bulky left common femoral artery disease (arrow; A), and an occluded superficial femoral artery. After exposure of the left common femoral artery, wires were placed into the aorta (B), and the superficial femoral artery occlusion was crossed (C). Following common femoral endarterectomy (D) and patch closure (dashed arrow; H), the external iliac artery was stented (E), followed by angioplasty and stenting of the superficial femoral artery (F). Completion arteriography shows the widely patent superficial femoral artery (G).
