Stent-grafting for left inflow disease
The arteriograms show treatment of a patient with severe claudication due to left-sided inflow disease. Right-sided access and aortography demonstrate the left iliac artery occlusion (arrow; A). Collaterals reconstituted the left superficial femoral artery distally (dashed arrow; B). Following open left femoral endarterectomy, a wire was used to cross the occluded segment (arrowhead; C). Left common and external iliac artery stent-grafts were positioned (small arrow; D) and deployed (thick arrow; E). Completion arteriography shows the patent vessel (F).
