Recanalization of the left common iliac artery

Recanalization of the left common iliac artery
The aortogram shows a left common iliac artery occlusion (arrow; A) that could not be crossed antegrade (dashed arrow; B). The lesion was unable to be crossed retrograde using a wire (C); however, a reentry catheter (Outback) successfully entered the aorta (D). Completion arteriography demonstrated a patent distal aorta and common and external iliac arteries, with no residual stenosis throughout the stented region (E).
