Plain radiographs right main bronchus injury
(A) An upright chest film shows a broken right clavicle with a large right pneumothorax and pneumomediastinum in a 24-year-old woman struck by a car.
(B) A film obtained following chest tube placement shows a persistent pneumothorax. A large air leak was noted from the tube. Bronchoscopy revealed complete disruption of the right main bronchus, which was confirmed at thoracotomy.
