* Diagnostic tests for sexually transmitted infections include anal swabs for gonorrhea (NAAT or culture), chlamydia (NAAT), herpes simplex virus (PCR or culture); and peripheral blood for syphilis serology (RPR). If the chlamydia NAAT is positive, LGV PCR should be performed if available.
