LMA Fastrach removal after tracheal intubation

LMA Fastrach removal after tracheal intubation
This video clip shows the proper technique for removing the LMA Fastrach after a tracheal tube has been successfully placed. Note that this procedure is complex and as a general rule should not be performed on a patient without having practiced the technique in advance. Improper technique may cause the tracheal tube to become dislodged or the pilot balloon to be torn.
LMA: laryngeal mask airway.
