Ureteral anastomosis.
(A) The ends of the ureters are trimmed obliquely and spatulated.
(B) Fine delayed absorbable sutures are used to approximate the ends of the ureter.
(C) The anastomosis is done over a double-J or pigtail stent. A suction catheter is placed retroperitoneally at the site of anastomosis.
