Tracheobronchomegaly

Tracheobronchomegaly
(A) Flexible bronchoscopy in a 28 year old man with Mounier-Kuhn syndrome reveals a widened diameter of the trachea and mainstem bronchi consistent with congenital tracheobronchomegaly.
(B) Dynamic airway computed tomographic (CT) image taken at end-inspiration in the same man, confirming increased size of the trachea.
(C) CT image taken at end-expiration confirms the finding of tracheal collapse (ie, tracheomalacia).
