Shoulder external rotation plyometric exercise

Shoulder external rotation plyometric exercise
The exercise shown is part of an exercise program for throwers. With their elbow against their side and hand against their abdomen, the patient grips elastic tubing attached about waist height to a fixed object. The patient stands perpendicular to the attachment point. With moderate to fast speed, the patient externally rotates their shoulder to approximately 30 degrees past neutral, then gradually allows the band to pull the hand back to the starting position.
