Press-up exercise
The exercise shown is part of an exercise program for throwers. While seated, the patient firmly grasps both sides of the chair or table with their palms down. The hands should be directly below the shoulders. The patient then slowly pushes downward through their hands to elevate their body off the chair or table, holds the elevated position for two seconds, and slowly lowers their body back to the starting position.
