Full-face mask for noninvasive ventilation in children

Full-face mask for noninvasive ventilation in children
A full-face mask provides a reliable means for delivering noninvasive ventilation (either continuous positive airway pressure [CPAP] or bilevel positive airway pressure [BPAP]) in children. However, infants and young children may become anxious or agitated when the mask is applied and may do better with a nasal cannula or nasal mask.
