Estimate of CV risk with sexual activity: Princeton III Consensus recommendations
Algorithm from the Princeton III Consensus recommendations used to estimate the CV risk associated with sexual activity in patients with ED and known CVD.
CV: cardiovascular; ED: erectile dysfunction; CVD: cardiovascular disease; CIMT: carotid intima media thickness; ABI: ankle-brachial index. * Sexual activity is equivalent to walking 1 mile on the flat in 20 minutes or briskly climbing two flights of stairs in 10 seconds. ΒΆ Sexual activity is equivalent to four minutes of the Bruce treadmill protocol. The option of CIMT and ABI instead is also given.
